Our proposal for the Flints Park Special Housing Area builds on the existing heritage character and opportunities of the site to create a neighbourhood which has a strong sense of identity, while providing for a variety of housing choices with an emphasis on affordable housing options.
151 new residential sites have been proposed, along with the retention of the historic Glenpanel homestead to realise potential commercial uses such as gallery spaces, cafe, and cellar door activities.
The proposed masterplan ensures that generous open spaces have been included through the retention of the mature park-like grounds adjacent to the homestead, and a linear park which was proposed to incorporate an existing tree lined driveway which leads to the homestead.
