Spatial – ASB Retail Banking
New Zealand Network
CPRW has a long history of providing architectural and associated services to the ASB Retail Banking & Workplace Property Portfolio.
The relationship began in 1988 and we have been part of the evolution of ASB retail branch design which has supported the transition from transactional, counter-based service offerings, to a self-service model which now incorporates more touchpoints than ever before.
From 1988 CPRW was involved in a number of retail banking rollouts, starting with the National Expansion Programme in 1988, and the subsequent roll out of various retail branch designs over the following 29 years.
Following the detailed design and documentation of the last Branch Design Manual, the rollout of the current branch design commenced with the June 2015 opening of the Takanini branch in South Auckland.
From mid-2015 to 2018 CPRW designed and documented 17 new branches and 19 existing branch upgrades. As well as the earthquake strengthening of 12 premises. In addition to these projects, CPRW also carried out 32 ATM upgrades and 29 special projects with ASB.
In recent years the services provided by CPRW to the ASB retail property portfolio have included undertaking earthquake audits and strengthening projects, fix and fasten upgrades, day to day property management projects, a Mobile Banking and technology showcase, furniture design, and the creation of a web portal to house all tender, construction documentation, and the archive of property portfolio plans.
The architectural, design and documentation services CPRW provided to ASB have all been self-delivered in house.
