Spatial – Landmark House
187 Queen Street

Originally the Auckland Electric Power Board Building, 187 Queen Street is one of only a few examples of the Chicago commercial Gothic style of skyscraper architecture in New Zealand.

90 years after it first opened, CPRW has worked with owner Lamont & Co. to breath new life into what remains one of Auckland’s most beautiful and distinctive character buildings.

A sympathetic approach to planning and detailing has allowed many original design features of the building to be exposed, revitalised, and expressed. The discreet provision of the services infrastructure required to support the functional requirements of modern workplace environments ensures that tenants are well catered for.
